My workspace revealed

A while back the lovely Marybeth asked to see my workspace. Then a friend asked if he could bring his high school art class to see my studio. Hah! I had to laugh, if they only knew. Well now they will. My kitchen table is where I sew, design, cut, brainstorm new ideas (I have to admit this is a very tidy photo, at the moment the whole top of the piece of furniture is covered in fabrics and new projects).

And my son's cupboard is where I attempt to keep my fabrics under control.

No studio, not even a craft room, just a distant dream...

I am part of the kitchen table club aswell!
When I grow up I think I'd like one of those studio things. :)

btw: Thanks for the little parcel of swatches. They are great and I just love your swing tag too!

My workplace is my living room table (and my living room is a half of the space occupied by the kitchen in the other half. ^^).
This is how we do it! ^^

I had a friend who worked out of a VW Westfalla van. People contact me about workshops + coming to my studio to see my print shop set-up, but I only honor this request from really good friends who will forgive my funky space. Someone once told me that we create in spite of our surroundings.

I love seeing your fabric board on the wall there. It looks great! I sew on the table too, even though I have a sewing room. My table I occasionally clean off enough so that we can eat, my sewing room I hardly ever clean, so there's no space to sew in it!

Well ... clearly an official STUDIO is in >no way< necessary for being a prolific, amazing -artist.
you are obviously tremendously organized( i sigh with envy) to be able to do , all that you do, in your lovely , cozy space.
