Poppy Jack

My dear Poppy Jack passed away last week. He made it to the great age of 92. Always smiling and never a bad word to be said. He taught us all about positivity by his actions. He will be missed.
I have this piece of him in my house. Some chairs he made with his hands when he was first married. But his happiness lives on in my heart. Our family will join together this week to celebrate his life.
And then there's my own little Jack (4 years) who follows on from his great-grandfather by rolling with what life gives him and being left handed!

I'm so sorry for your loss. It seems he lived a wonderful, full life by your description, and that is something to celebrate. And I agree with Amanda, those chairs are amazing! How lucky for you to have those as a beautiful reminder of him.

I am sorry he has gone. My Papa was in his nineties, too, but no matter how old they are it's always too early to say goodbye. I dream about Papa sometimes. How lovely to have his chairs!
