Download issue no.3 now! I'm rather fond of page 27...Thanks to Jenny for including me in this beautiful Australian online magazine.
On another note, I'm taking the kids to Perth, WA very soon. Any good shopping tips, places to visit? We will be in the city near King's park.

Hey- I'm in Perth :) Hmmm shopping. Subiaco is worth a visit. King St in the city and around there generally. Leederville (Oxford St) worth a visit. Calico & Ivy, nice fabric. Any other questions drop me an email!
London court in the city is well worth a shopping visit. It's a reproduction of a Tudor alley - quite astonishing. And there are diorama clocks at either end that move on the hour. The kids will love it. As for stuff for the kids - the bell tower and then take the jetty from Barrack St across the river and go to the zoo.
will you have a car? come and see me at the market! :-) how long are you coming for?
that magazine is amazing, great to see your work in it!congratulations
Thanks for the tips! We'll be there for 3 days and hopefully have a car. Which market Miss Dot?
I second the zoo for kids. I love wandering around Fremantle and Subiaco. Have a great trip.
Fremantle is great to look at, dinner by the warf. great knitting shop called 'Yarn on Colliers'. Call in to 'Calicoe and Ivy' on the way there in Glyde Street Mosman Park.Subiaco has good shopping and nice to wander. Claremont nice to wander. the list goes on, email me if you want more. How old are the children?
Subiaco, Fremantle and Leederville are great. Also, on William Street in Northbridge there are a series of great new independent stores calling themselves the William Street Collective (Google it). That should be fairly close to you, maybe even walking distance depending how far you like to walk. Also FORM in the City or Elements in Kings Park are beautiful craft shops, as is the shop at the Art Gallery. Hmmm... maybe you need to extend your trip!
If you get nice weather, go for a drive along the coast to Sorrento Quay/Hillarys Boat Harbour - there is an aquarium, shops, cafes, play equipment, the Great Escape (amusement park). Kids like the Fremantle Maritime Musuem and Fremantle prison - there are also markets and cafes in this area. If you are after quilting/fabric supplies, Calico and Ivy is the best place to go. Enjoy your trip!
yay! you're in LMOP!! I got my subscription last week, but haven't read it yet. I'm off to check out page 27.... :)
