I have been patternmaking this morning. It takes me back to my college days. Lets just say many years ago. The smell of the cardboard brought back memories.

Wpw! Patternmaking?! You are so talented. I'd love to learn how to draft patterns, maybe when they add an extra 4 hours to the day i'll get around to it. ;-)
Thanks Nichola! I learnt patternmaking when I was 18. So I felt very rusty today and that was only tracing patterns and ammending the style a bit - not starting from scratch. I think it took me 2 hours sitting on the floor doing it. I really miss the huge tables we had at college.
I need to get busy on the same task. I usually trace a commercial pattern, then make modifications to suit my own needs. Right now I have nursing tops on my brain. If I don't start sewing some now I won't have anything to wear once the baby is born!
