These boy bags are a quick solution for 6 year old boys birthdays. They take under half an hour to cut and sew. With a book or some toy car's inside, they are a great gift to make. On the back I have used the same fabric as the pockets and used velcro at the top to close them up. The bags are unlined as I don't think little boys care about that too much!

Great idea, I think the dinosaur one is my favourite.
Those are lovely! What did you use for the handles, is it ribbon? Or did you make a skinny fabric tube?
love them. i love the denim, and the dinosaur fabric is so cute! (you can say cute for little boys, right??! :)
I've been having trouble commenting on your blog lately. blogger won't bring up the comment page...but it seems to be working today...
Those are just too cute. Any little boy would love to carry his toys and books in a bag like that.
Great bags - really nice for showcasing the cool boy fabric's you've found.

Great idea, I need to stock up on some boyish fabrics though :).
haha - i believe that's true - i don't know a single boy that would notice whether a bag was lined or not! Those are really cute.
Fantastic bags Kristen, I would definitely buy some of those to have in the cupboard for birthdays!
