Kids and sewing

This post should be titled "What you can get done while your 3 year old kicks a bag of toy stuffing around the house like a soccer ball". But I thought that might be a little too long.

School hols always seem a little too long for me. That doesn't sound like a good mother I know. And I do appreciate that teachers need the break (my sister-in-law is one and I have absolute respect for the amount of hard work that goes into teaching our kids). But how come the holidays come around so quickly?

So here's what I did achieve in a brief moment while the kids were distracted.

And something to wing it's way across the world to Didine. (Molly I think I need another fabric/ribbon swap if that's not too cheeky to ask?)

i'd just dropped you an email about swapping. i'd be happy to. could i ever convince you to do a tutorial on small zipper pouches? (is it "cheeky" to ask someone to do a tutorial? :) xo.

How many day's have your kids been off for so far!! Only joking, mine aren't off for another 2 weeks yet, then I'll be going insane too!!

Funny about the stuffing...reminded me when a couple of 4 year olds tossed all my interfacing out (the room looked it had been toilet papered!). Summertime has definitely slowed down my production!

The zippered pouches look great!
