Birthday money

I went to Paddington markets with a friend on the weekend. My aim was to spend the birthday money she had given me. I wanted to pick up something special that I wouldn't usually spend money on, something a little out of the ordinary. This fitted the bill.

A hand-carved stamp of my logo from stone. Done by a very talented little old man in less than half an hour. Mission accomplished!

That is fantastic. My dad had one made with his initials when he was in China. I remember I wanted one soo bad.

Nice purchase! That's so cool! You can stamp everything that's not already branded! Well done :)

Hi Kristen! Really glad to have found your blog and I enjoy reading what you put up. My name is Clara and I'm an editor of tips of all sorts dot com and i've heard of this tip on how to make your stamp print evenly on paper, so here goes...wet the paper first, very lightly e.g. with a q-tip, and the ink should spread out nicely on the paper when you stamp. Hope this tip will come in handy. :-)
