best ever

On the way into the NYE picnic I told Harry that this would be the best picnic he has ever been to. He rolled his eyes and said that I was being silly. Ten minutes later he agreed with me. Here's a few pics of the afternoon/evening.

Harry had his hair spray painted.

Trying on bikes for size.

Bowling.

Lots of eating.

Entertainment: Kinder Jazz (Had a laugh when I realised that I used to go to same church as lead singer - Steve)

Illuminated people that led the procession down to the harbour.

Now it's back to sewing. My machine has broken down too many times to recall lately. Mum and a friend have come to the rescue with their machines to use, but now it's time to bite the bullet and part ways with my old Pfaff (20 years we have been together). So there might be a new addition to the house tomorrow - fingers crossed. And I hope this machine will last me 20 years also!

3 bunnies that went to Hazelhurst Art Gallery today.

Well, good luck with the new addition, and I hope the farewell isn't too harsh for the old one. My old machine is starting to go on the fritz more often as of late, so I am wondering if I'll be in the same boat soon. Fingers crossed...

Thanks for posting about the Hazelhurst Gallery. I went for the first time yesterday after reading your post, and it is fantastic, I shall be returning. I wasn't expecting to see the bunnies just yet, but they were putting them in the cabinet as we were looking through the shop, and the denim one with red ears has come home with us, before being given to a little boy for his first birthday next weekend.
