New machine... ahhhh.
Successfully spent my Christmas money at Miranda Fair. Exactly the shoes I had imagined, in the first shop I went to, in my size (9) and reduced to more than half price - unheard of. Discovered a new clothing brand I hadn't seen before called Piper. Very up my alley.
Mini pen to go with a project I'm working on.

Ohhh, spending big at Miranda - just my kind of day.
I have noticed Piper too. They have some nice clothes!!! Looking forward to a child free day to check it all out properly.
I'm very jealous of your new sewing machine. I want to upgrade mine this year but I promised myself I wouldn't until I know how to use the one I have.
Ooh, a new sewing machine. How exciting. Nothing like a new great purchase to inspire some creative projects. Have fun stitching.

This is the same machine I have - a second hand one but Berninas are great as they are all metal parts, so will last (hopefully). I love your blog and adore the ladyird design. there is something so special about ladybirds that connects with childhood...
Love all your new purchases. It's been a long time since I've been to Miranda Fair, a wonderful place as I remember.
New to your blog and already I love, love, love your new machine :)
Everyone should be jealous of your machine... I got the same one as my first machine still low mileage... only had about a 1000 meters of cotton through it... :)
Nice top and shoes, and oh wow that is an impressive machine!! You'll have so much fun with that
What are you going to do with ur old one?
I feel a little like I am in the twilight zone. I bought the exact same shoes (very comfortable) last week, along with two Piper tops (very up my alley too) and, would you believe I have a new sewing machine too? We may just be living in parralel universes!
Hi There
Just found your blog - whilst trampling around other blogs. You make really lovely stuff with you own fabric - something i'd love to do.
I have to ask you about your new bernina. I have an old (and still much loved) bernina but I'm thinking of buying a newer one (basically because I can only do about 8 stitches with mine). Can you reccommend this one?
Cheers
Monda
