Ouch

Tip: move your thumb right out of the way when cutting a cardboard roll with a stanley knife.
Fact: Cutting halfway across your thumb with a knife doesn't hurt as much as childbirth, but it comes close.

My boys were absolute troupers last night as their Mum sat crying her eyes out, rocking back and forth and nursing her thumb. Harry cleared the lounge, offered me a seat, asked if I wanted a glass of water and even offered to go to his room incase I needed to cry on my own. One rough night of sleep and now I'm off to shower with a plastic bag on my hand. Just so glad it wasn't worse than that!

On a much nicer note, I have some mix packs for sale in the shop.

booo, I know how it feels...did the same thing weeks ago. The wound has healed but I can still feel it when I touch something :(

Just leave the band aid on for weeks (of course you'll need to refresh) and take it off when it's closed.

yikes, it makes my stomach turn again...i know the feeling...and it ain't good.

I love the way your kids behave, they're cuties...take care

OWWW! How cute is Harry! Hope it gets better soon. Ouch!

Hey, I just finished sewing my bag out of your ladybug fabric - it took me forever to decide which bit of the design to actually use & although very happy with the bits I did use, I'm still sad about the bits I didn't! I matched it with some fabric & strap from Amitie (can't go in there again...way too many gorgeous fabrics in fantastic colours!!). I'll send a pic soon.

Take care & look after your thumb! Be careful!!!!!!

Yikes. I'm wincing here. This may sound crazy but if you pinch it shut and put superglue on it, it will heal nicely in a couple days. Really.

Hope you feel better soon!

metal rulers, knives and thumbs... bad combination for me.
hope you heal super-fast.
