These hand-carved stamps arrived from the US today. The lovely Frizz agreed to help out on a project for a non-blogging friend. This is not the first time I have received some beautiful stamps from her, but the first time I have been able to photograph them. Frizz made up an amazing kit for my two boys that was excitedly opened one day before I could get the camera out.
I just wanted to say a big THANKS to Frizz, a talented and creative illustrator.

Great stamp! Ive always wanted to know how to make my own, or have my own design made up. Do you know many people who do this on a small scale?
Ooooo More owls. :*)
What a wonderful friend. Super sweet owl stamps!
Love your new stamp!
I am laughing at myself now because I told another blogger recently that I am too lazy to answer questions in my own comment section. And here I am two days later doing just that!
I have had stamps made up (just self inking name stuff) in Sydney years back and looking in the Yellow Pages - there are a heap of companies that do stamps.
But my friend Frizz, has a handcrafted touch and amazing sense of fun when it comes to drawing, so I didn't even consider doing it myself (and she generously said she would help).
That stamp is just gorgeous! I've got to try my hand at carving my own stamps some time too.
Yes I agree that stamp has inspiried me to have a go. The playmat looks great too.
