A friend has asked me to make a baby playmat/quilt for her nephew-to-be in Spain. I went to the local craft shop to get some 'baby' fabric but nothing grabbed me. Then I remembered this Ikea fabric purchased on the weekend and it all fell into place. There are a few 'little owls' added for texture. Next my most unfavourite job, putting it all together and binding.

Wow- fantastic mix of colours, pattern and textures. Ikea make some great fabrics for crafting with. it's great to see them used in ways they probably never imagined!
it is so amazing. I'd have another child just to have that playmat!
