The shape of things

This was given to me by my Nan many years ago. I pulled it out last night and looked at the way it has been shaped to her finger over time. This tiny object holds a lot of sewing stories. Wish it could talk.

And these thimbles are owned by my boys. Bought to do magic tricks with. Shaped by their fingers while they tried to scrunch them away in little hands to trick their Mum.
There is a 'camping' theme at preschool next week. Spurred me on to make a little sleeping bag for Jack. Of course his big brother has put in an order for one too.

And hardly a post goes by without a little 'mollybirds' project.

I still can't believe you made sleeping bags.

I love thimbles, they're such a satisfying shape. The mollybirds pouch looks gorgeous too. My fabric came in the post this week, thanks so much - it's beautiful.
