A few weeks ago the library had a 3 day sale. Caro and I discussed going on the first morning and I forgot! Ahhh. I went the 2nd day, nothing much left and they closed up early and kicked me out. Then went to Caro's and took a look at her stash. My green eyed monster came out to play when I saw the Mackintosh textile design book she scored. I don't think our friendship would have survived the cat fight if I had gone to the sale with her and we BOTH saw that! Well, that is how I tried to console myself. At least I could borrow it whenever I needed.
Fast forward two weeks and Caro gives it to me!!! I could have skipped all the way home (if I didn't live up a very steep hill from her house). THANK YOU.

Kristen, I know this book will be a great source of inspiration for you but it is nothing compare to the inspiration you give me...One day a book will have this title: Kristen Doran a life of textile design. Who knows I might still be alive to find it in a libary sale!!!

OOh what a great book. I love Charles Rennie! My boyfriend is from Paisley in Scotland,so whenever we are there we get to see all the lovely stuff he did, my favourite is a house he designed in Helensburgh called Hill House or something. The place is amazing!
