Inspiration.
More sketches.

And once the late night sketching has reached an end it gets scanned into the computer. From there the images go to photoshop, get cleaned up, sent to illustrator, coloured and put in repeat.Once all the fun bits are done I then spend the next few weeks thinking about the printing quotes and costs, not so fun (oh yeah, and remembering to feed and dress the kids).

how cool, thanks for showing that!
gorgeous! what a talent!!!
I am huge fan of seeing the process and how people work so thank you for the insight. I like the bottom few photographs, these images look quite large.
and oh yeah, the kids...
too funny. I'm like that too, sometimes when I get in the creative zone.
seeing your work makes me wish i could draw. and come over for a lesson in illustrator!
i love the new stuff. can't wait to see the rest of the process.
Oh gorgeous! I love those Art Nouveau style patterns.
You are really lucky to have such a talent. I'm limited to stick figures they are pretty awful even by stick figure standards.
I love your designs! They are very inspiring. In fact, I've been wondering how to get some of my ideas printed of fabrics, but I have no clue where to start... Any advice?
I've had you're website bookmarked for ages, but just found your blog. How exciting! What's the next stage in your process? Do you get all your fabric printed by a print shop?
hi there! great pattern...any advice on how to clean it up in photoshop. I have done the dust & sctartches and smoothing, but I think my lines still dont have that smooth finish.
