This print has taken a long time. I'm laughing as I'm typing this - I've just looked through my files and September '07 is when I started. WHAT? But why? Well, I started drawing this when Jack was still at preschool soccer practise. A sort of time filler as all the other Mum's chatted about life. My life was in a very different place at the time and I needed the time alone. I borrowed my favourite Art Nouveau books from the library and would sit and doodle for an hour at each practise. I like the fact that I can look at different parts of this print and bring back memories, thoughts, healing times, of watching my son's joyful face and promise of the future. It's time for this print now. I will have the bulk in a week (this is a test sample) the colour a few shades lighter.

I love that not only is it a lovely bohemian detail but it has a story to tell. Very cool
Kristen I just love this, very excited to hear that it will be ready soon. Lovely to read that it has fond memories for you even though it was a long time in the pipe line. Some things are worth waiting for and this is surely one of them!
Warmly Lenna
