I thought I would have a go at making little soft people. My love of stripes (my 3 year old still get put in his size 2 stripey Bonds leggings) meant one thing - stripey people. Although I think they are cute, maybe some arms and legs would have been a good idea. I guess all ideas take time to develop.

I love these! So cute! Especially armless.
For some reason, these make me think of thumbs - I like their limblessness. Their little faces are really sweet and I love your fabric combinations.
I don't think they need anytthing else, simpler the better, lovely big faces!.
they're so cute. and they do remind me of thumbs, that is too funny! If you add anything, I think just legs, no arms. the expressions on their faces make them look like they'd have their arms tucked behind their backs, or contentedly crossed in front of them. But I know you'll do something great with them, if you do make changes.
(I think they're very well-dressed in their stripes, too!!)
