It's all about sewing this week (and a bit of stuff I'm supposed to do around here that keeps us all fed and in clean clothes). I'm not worried about the craft market next week, I'll save that until the night before. Here's some things I finished today.
Also Manela asked to see some sewing boxes. Not much to show here but a plastic box full of plastic bags hiding all my things.

And this is to show what happens when you say to a three year old "Yeah, sure, play with my bag of buttons".

And Didine! Wow, thanks so much for my beautiful parcel. It certainly put a smile on my face.

Your bags are so beautiful!
I'd have a hard time showing my sewing box(s), as they are usually just plastic boxes full of stuff like yours.
Hi!
thank you for sharing your sewing box... mine was closed for the picture because all my beads are in paper bags from the shop I buy them... I had the idea because I think it's funny to learn that even doing different things and belonging to different parts of the world, we all (or mostly all) keep our things the same or similar way... Thank you again... I love your bags... you're tempting me day by day... sooner or later I will be one of your client... keep up with the goodwork, manela
Sorry, it's me again! I already left a link in my blog to yours so that people can see the beautiful things you do! greetings from portugal, manela
Buttons are such a treasure to children and adults alike. There's nothing better than having a look through someones button tin!
how many times have I walked in on the same exact button mess...I love your new print in that green color. I hope you'll be selling some in that color?? (speaking of, I wrote to whipup about you a few days ago...)
Wow, just came across your blog and well what can I say except ... wow you are a truly excellent textile designer! Your patterns are so beautiful, what inspires you? I can say you are inspiring me now!
Lovely stuff, I used to love playing with my buttins and wish I could let my girls do it but the youngest one still shoves stuff in her mouth so it just isn't an option yet.
Your textiles are lovely
The buttons get loaded onto trains, trucks, poured into buckets, spread across the room, spread across other rooms, and you'll notice when you come by there are buttons in weird corner areas too....
Emma from Sew Recycled! asked what inspires me. Botanical at the moment. But other things are bold colours, strong shapes and clean lines. I'm very excited to be able to make products that are all my own.
I became very frustrated with the fabric choices at the usual retail stores and this pushed me to do my own.
Those bags are amazing! And clean clothes are overrated.
I love the bags that you sewed, so beautiful!!!
