Fabric show and tell

While in Melbourne I visited the BEST fabric shop - Patchwork on Central Park. Carly had warned me to go there first before I spent all my holiday budget and she was so right. I spent a long time pouring over all the beautiful fabrics and finally came home with a few prints for some fun projects. I made the boys "santa sacks" out of the ladybug fabric and will post pics soon.

Then back in Sydney I was lucky enough to ring Publisher Textiles with an enquiry the day that they were having a remnant sale. I couldn't get there quick enough!!

oh goodness, I am so glad I am in Perth, if I had access to either of those shops I would be poorer than I am! How did you contain yourself? Last time I was in Melbourne the Saba shop was closing down and I bought rolls and rolls of fabric at $10 THE WHOLE ROLL! my luggage weighed 36kilos! :-)

Oh my, I'm so jealous! Those fabrics are gorgeous!! If I ever made it in person to a nice fabric store with prints like that I'd be in trouble.

All of your choices are so wonderful. I bought the same bird fabric through Repot Depot to cover some of my hand bound books + they were quite the hit at the last show I did.

Is there anything better than a remnant sale? Great fabrics by the way. Lovely colours and patterns.
