New skirt

I've gone up a dress size over the Christmas break and there is a desperate need for clothes that fit while I work it off again! So I made this little skirt yesterday. Don't be fooled, I turned side on and sucked in my tummy for this pic! Ahh the magic of photography...

I'm thinking of adding some pockets on the front. I always underestimated the value of a pocket until I become a Mum and realised that I never had enough hands to hold everything.

Both skirt and fabric are fabulous I love that length.

I too have now understood the magic of pockets. I think it's part of the second child birth process?

It's beautiful! I love the hem detail. I never would have thought to do something like that, but will keep in mind for my next skirt!

Your skirt is inspiring. I just learned how to put a zipper in and have made three skirts in three days. Yippee!
