Today's WIP

This black fabric has been hiding in the cupboard since last summer. Well, not really hiding, left exactly where I tucked it away filed under "make into a dress". Halfway through the tension on my machine went nuts... I cleaned, re-threaded, paniced mildly, moved the tension dial to a large number it's not supposed to be on and it limped along well. I'll be off to visit my local repair man this week. I'm hoping to finish it tonight while the kids are in bed. Hem, zipper and neck bind and we are done!

My machine is doing exactly the same thing at the moment. All the stitches are really loopy. Taking it in to "the man" though is just one of those things I have to do ..
Gorgeous fabric, really love it, and the contrasting binding.

Great colors. Very retro-like print.
